If so, are their names listed or appear on the rolls of the WWII Memorial records? If not, here is how you can remedy that.
Call 1-800-639-4992 or on the internet click the link shown below:
Click on the WWII Registry button at the left. Follow the instructions to enter the name you wish to honor. To register a name via mail, call the 800 number shown above and a form will be sent to you with instructions.
The veterans will be recorded on the memorial records so if anyone would inquire about any veteran or contributor toward the war effort, just look up the names on the internet. You can also confirm a name by called the 800 number and they will look the name up for you.
